Search Functionality in Forms
Use the search functionality when embedding a form within an item in SchoolCash Catalog. This enhancement allows users to quickly find the correct form without manually scrolling through the list.
Here's how to use the new search functionality:
- When embedding a form to an item, start typing the name of the form in the dropdown list.
- The list automatically filters to display forms that match the entered text.

Search Functionality in Custom Forms
The search functionality is also available in the custom forms section.
Here’s how it works:
- Start typing the name of the custom form in the dropdown list.
- The list automatically filters to display custom forms that match the entered text.
Example:
Do reports show something different than normal items?
No, reports show the amount entered by the parent as the item price. All other information stays the same.
Notes:
- By selecting option #2, the school should then detach the original item (with the form). If this step is not performed, the item remains outstanding when they log into their account and go to the student.
- The school is required to run two reports, one for the item with the form, as well as the standard variable cost item.
