How does the effective Cut-Off Date work?


RESPONSE:

The Effective Cut-Off Date is found in the Attachment by Course.


Required attachments must have an effective cut off date.


The effective cut-off date entered indicates the end of the 'grace' period whereby the student must pay if they are enrolled in the course. 

  • If the student drops the course prior to the Effective Cut-Off Date, the item will no longer remain as a commitment to the student.
  • If the student drops the course, after the Effective Cut-Off Date, the course attachment will remain attached until paid, even after the expiry date. If not paid, it will display as overdue.


If a course is attached with an Optional selection, you do not an effective cut-off date is not required.


PROCESS: From Main Menu > My School Store > SchoolCash Catalog


  1.   Create Item, Save
  2.   Attach Item as:
    1. Required
    2. by Course
  3.   Enter Effective Cut-Off Date
  4.   Attach
