How does Limit Per Student work?

The Limit Per Student default is 1, for one Add to Cart/Purchase for the student.

Change the default to 2 or greater, this provides a quantity field allowing for up to the entered number (or selecting the toggle changes the number to Unlimited) Add to Cart/Purchases by one or more parents.

Example: Default changed to Limit Per Student of 5

Scenario 1: First parent tries to enter a quantity greater than the Limit per Student of 5,
the system changes quantity back to 5 and provides an explanation in red
- Quantity entered has exceeded the available quantity for this item.

Scenario 2: One parent, or combination of parents, have made three (3 of the 5) previous additions to cart/purchases,
next parent tries to enter a quantity of 3, but only 2 of the 5 are remaining for purchase.

Note: the system changes the quantity to whatever is available (below screen capture) and provides an explanation in red.

- Quantity entered has exceeded the available quantity for this item.

What happens when the Limit per Student of 5 are all added to cart/purchased?

Parent SCO Page:  The item disappears from all parents attached to the student.

SchoolCash Register:  The item is no longer available in the register for the student.

If school tries to Add Additional Item to the student, the system provides a message noting the student has already purchased the maximum available quantity of 5 for the item.
