Overview
This article provides network connectivity requirements and troubleshooting information for SchoolCash POS.
Use this information to review URL and port allow-list requirements and to troubleshoot charging, connectivity, LTE, Wi-Fi, and SIM card issues on the device.

It is recommended to allow-list the following URLs and ports:

- Allow-list ssl2.vitalps.net over port 5003.
- Allow-list ssl3.vitalps.net over port 5003.
Canadian customers only
- Allow-list icta.pivone.com over port 9057.
- Allow-list ictb.pivone.com over port 9057.
Common troubleshooting steps
- Ensure the device is charged and powered on.
- Check the internet connection and reconnect if necessary.
- Restart the device to resolve temporary issues.
- Refer to the POS support page for detailed troubleshooting instructions.
LTE connectivity
- Open Settings on the device.
- Go to Network, then select Carrier.
- Select Lock to Single Carrier to improve stability.
- Verify the LTE connection indicator in the top-right corner of the device screen to confirm connectivity.
Wi-Fi connectivity
- Open Settings, then select Wi-Fi.
- Confirm Wi-Fi is turned on and connected to a network.
- Verify the Wi-Fi connection indicator in the top-right corner of the screen to confirm connectivity.
SIM card troubleshooting
- Ensure the SIM card is properly inserted into the device.
- Check the SIM card for visible damage. If the SIM card is damaged, replace it.
- Restart the device after inserting or re-inserting the SIM card.
- If issues persist, contact Support for assistance.
