Introduction
This article explains how to install a SIM card on a SchoolCash POS device and confirm its connectivity. Follow the steps below to properly insert the SIM card and configure the device settings.
Note: Screenshots may not represent your exact device. Please read the following instructions carefully.
- Power off the terminal.
 - Unlock and remove the back cover.

 - Remove the battery.
 - Insert the SIM card into the slot labeled SIM1 with the gold connectors face-down and with the cut corner facing the bottom left side (see the graphic on the terminal).

 - Replace the battery.
 - Replace and lock the back cover.
 - Power on the terminal.
 - From the main Android screen, tap the Settings icon (gear).
 - Tap the Password field to access the on-screen keypad
 - Enter the password: pax9876@@.
 - Tap the green checkmark.
 - Select OK.
 - If Wi-Fi is ON, toggle it OFF to prioritize mobile data.
 - Tap Data usage.
 - Ensure Mobile Data is toggled ON.
 - If the merchant cannot see the Mobile Data toggle, tap the back arrow and tap SIM Card.
 - If SIM 1 is greyed out and displays SIM empty, reinstall the SIM card.
 - At the top of the screen, tap the Back arrow to return to Network and Internet Settings.
 - Tap Mobile Networks. If the option is greyed out, follow Install or remove SIM Card.
 - Tap Advanced.
 - Ensure the toggles are on for Mobile Data, Roaming, Mobile Data Always Online, VoLTE, and automatically select Network. Preferred Network type should be set to 4G/3G/2G auto.


 - Scroll down and tap Access Point Names.
 - Tap on the three dots.
 - Select Reset to default. 

 - Select OK on the confirmation pop-up.

 - Tap the plus symbol to add a new APN.
 - Tap Name and enter the APN name.

 - Tap APN and enter the APN address.
- Bell-mnet.bell.ca.ioe, then tap OK
 - Telnyx-data00.telnyx, then tap OK
 - TNS-synapse.tnsi.com, then tap OK
 
 - Tap the three dots
 - Select Save.

 - Tap the circle icon at the bottom of the screen to return to the main screen.
 - Confirm connectivity and perform a test transaction to ensure the terminal is working.
