The October 2025 release of SchoolFunds Online introduces key updates that enhance data accuracy, reporting consistency, and navigation within the platform.

SCHOOLFUNDS ONLINE (SFO)

  • Generating reports for sponsors with no YTD activity or a $0 balance no longer appear in the Account History Report when the Exclude Accounts... checkbox is enabled.
  • The Consolidated Trial Balance Report now loads properly...
  • Longer numeric values no longer move to second line in the Report Designer.
  • Character limits are now enforced when pasting text in SFO Home Page Notes.
  • District User notes on the SFO home screen now align for Bookkeepers and Principals.
  • Uploaded documents are now accessible in the Reprint Reconciliation module.
  • No error appears when special characters are used while issuing a PO for a check.
  • Lines are no longer deleted when editing in Pcards.
  • A new validation process has been implemented to prevent the creation of duplicate school numbers and names.
  • Deposit IDs now remain unique for SCO deposits posted in SFO.
  • Users can now add new vendors from the Vendor Maintenance page.
  • The correct address is now retrieved for Vendors that have the same name.
  • The permission for using DBA as the PRIMARY flag now operates as intended during vendor lookups in Checks and POs.
  • Correct vendor details now load in a PO because an additional vendor-info request is triggered when the user selects or exits the vendor name field. 


POSITIVE PAY

  • There is now a new Positive Pay file to support transactions from HomeTrust Bank.
  • There is now a new Positive Pay file to support transactions from Synovus Bank.


USER MANAGEMENT

  • In Active Directory, users cannot configure the same Role to more than one Board Role.
  • There is now a new Special case permission "Special cases only: Allow check Approval to Bookkeepers" in User Management allowing check approval for bookkeepers. If you want that permission enabled, please contact our support team. 


SCHOOLCASH POINT OF SALE (POS) - App 1.234 

  • Quantity adjustments (+/-) for items with options and choices and variable cost items on the Review Cart page are now enabled. 
  • A background color with 10% opacity has been added to selected options and choices for better visual feedback.
  • A warning message is displayed if the payment app is detected in Demo Mode (if enabled).
  • The “Failed to close batch” message now appears when tapping the logo three times does not successfully close the batch.


SCHOOLCASH ONLINE (SCO)

  • Choice names are now displayed consistently on SchoolCash Online and are in alignment with the choices displayed in the District Catalog and the SchoolCash Catalog.


STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (SIS)

  •  API calls to handle token expiration for PowerSchool now re-authenticate to fix student course sections that are not uploading.
