Overview

This error appears in Ledger Inquire when the Transaction Number field contains more than 10 digits. The system only supports numbers up to 10 digits long. 


Steps to fix the error

  1. Check the value you entered in the Transaction Number field.
  2. If it has more than 10 digits, shorten the number to 10 digits or fewer.
  3. Save the record again.

Outcome

The record is added without triggering an application error.

Troubleshooting

  • Error still appears - Make sure the transaction number contains only numbers and no spaces or characters.
  • Record will not save - Verify that the number entered is no longer than 10 digits.
