Overview

KEV Group offers a Validate & Redeem Receipts feature. This mobile-friendly solution allows users to validate and redeem any SchoolCash generated receipt to prevent duplication.



Before you begin
  • Permissions: Users must have access to SchoolCash Catalog or SchoolCash Access - There is a login required.
    • To learn how to validate receipts using the POS scanning Device, click here.
  • Prerequisites: A receipt must be generated by SchoolCash (Online, Register, or POS) and a purchase executed from your own school catalog. You cannot redeem a receipt from a device assigned to another school.



Steps

  1. Access the redemption process via the RECEIPTS tab in the SchoolCash Catalog or SchoolCash Access sections, or via the provided link (example: https://nameofdistrictsite.schoolcash.net/redeemreceipts).

  2. Scan the QR code with a mobile or desktop camera or search for receipts by entering the receipt number on the keypad. 

  3. Once the receipt number is entered, the receipt number, purchaser details, and payment status will be displayed.

  4. District and/or school users use these details to validate receipts.

  5. Review Item(s) to redeem to see redeemable items.

  6. To redeem a receipt, select the item(s).

  7. Choose the desired quantity.

  8. Click Redeem.

Outcome

Receipts are validated and selected items are redeemed. Redeemed items appear in the Recently Redeemed section for tracking and in the Item Order Report under the column 'Redeemed'.
