Editing an Attachment from 'Required' to 'Optional'
To change an item or an attachment from Required to Optional, follow these steps:
Step 1: Access the SchoolCash Catalog
My School Store > SchoolCash Catalog
- Select Item (Our example is the Art Fee - $37)
Step 2: Manage Attachments
- Click the Manage Attachments button.
There are several attachments for this item.
- Verify the attachment for accuracy.
- Attachments that start with "course: (number) Semester: 1 FY Term" are attached to students as optional attachments and remain optional.
Individual attachments listed as required should be reviewed. These may have been attached through the SchoolCash Register (SCR) and should be changed to 'Optional' where appropriate.
Step 4: Change the Status to 'Optional'
- Select Edit and change the status from 'Required' to 'Optional' for attachments that have not yet been purchased.
Another way to remove the required attachment status is by detaching students who haven't paid for the item.
1. Select the double arrow to move all students to the detached column.
2. Alternatively, use the single arrow to detach individual students.
