Overview

The Transaction number field in both Ledger Inquire and Reconciliation enforces a strict length limit. Exceeding this limit causes an application error when saving or searching.



Before you begin

Transaction numbers must be numerical and no longer than 10 digits.


Details

  • The Transaction number field accepts a maximum of 10 digits.
  • Entering more than 10 digits results in an application error in Ledger Inquire.
  • The same error occurs in Reconciliation if a transaction exceeds the 10-digit limit.
  • If you import or paste values into the field, confirm that no spaces or non-numeric characters are included.
