Overview

Check data entry fields have specific character limits that affect how information prints on stubs, statements, and notices, as well as what can be stored in the ledger description.

Before you begin

  • Be aware of character limits to avoid printing issues or ledger errors.

Details

  • Check stub (supplier) - 270 characters
  • Check stub (office) - 150 characters
  • Statement - 300 characters
  • Debit notice - 300 characters
  • Ledger description - 1000 characters (includes supplier name, invoice number, and reason)

If the combined character count exceeds 1000 characters for the ledger description, the system will throw an exception error when you select Add To Ledger.
